Helen has been educating us in the wonderful world of superfoods and we now have a range of products available to purchase here . Our favourite? It's got to be chia seeds. It's not known as 'the running food' for nothing.

TaraWera UltraMarathon

The 4th annual Vibram Tarawera Ultra Run & Relays. 17 March, 2012

An adventure, an endurance event, a 100km-long scenic buffet. The Vibram Tarawera Ultra is a 100k, 50+ mile (85km) or 60km trail ultra. distance run from Rotorua to Kawerau in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. Along way you'll pass through exotic forestry, native bush, lakes, waterfalls and follow a beautiful river. Most of the run is on single track trails or forestry roads. You can compete as a solo athlete or as part of a relay team. There will be buffet aid stations, drop bags, pacers, spot prizes and free hotpools at the finish. Plus you'll get to share your day with an international field of athletes.

Session Description:
Designed for runners of all levels of experience to engage with like minded people together in a friendly, safe and open environment to learn as a group some of the best ways o develop good running form.

A great start to encourage running with less effort, increase your potential running speed and aid in the prevention of injury. All participants are encouraged to participate barefoot to gain the most from the lessons offered.
